Hello,

I would like to ask you about your opinion about the above
mentioned scales, as you got both series in your hand. For me it probably comes
down to the decision between JS1000V/JS600V and the Pointscale. For 80% of the
tasks the scale will be used for a capacity of 200g would be perfectly enough.
But to have the option of weighing up to 500 or even 1000g is still
tempting.
Will the JS1000V/JS600V be as accurate as the Pointscale when
weighing items with a weight of around 70g?
The most important point for me
is overall quality of the scales. What is you personal impression of the
JS1000V/JS600V compared to the Pointscale regarding build quality, haptic,
accuracy and (a little less important) features? If you would have to choosse
one (ignoring the higher capacities of the Jenning models), which scale would
you choose and why?
I hope it is ok to ask you for such a advice.
Unfortunately I couldn't find a dealer having both models an beyond that I
suppose you to be more
independent and unbiased relating to the two
companies.
Thank in advance!

Best regards

Ingo Klausmeier

I have used both and have both here from our previous tests. I'd pick the JSV
because it has a really nice SS tray with a raised lip and the Weighmeter. I
don't know why anyone would really pick the Pointscale over that JSV. It's
probably one of the best designed pocket scales in the market.

The
Pointscale is an older design and is sort of outdated IMO

Thanks very much for the advice! Now I only have to chosse between JS600V and
JS200XV ;-)
