Is WeighMax a good brand?
I found an unbelievably cheap WeighMax kitchen scale on eBay,but I am worried
about the quality of this bargain (16 dollars!), so I dug around a bit: It turns
out WeighMax's address listed on their website actually belongs to Xj Group USA,
yep, the same group that manufactures DigiWeigh.
So I went ahead and
called them inquiring about their quality, their response is that they are the
2nd largest scale manufacturer in China and that they stand behind their 10 year
warranty 100%, but I am still having doubts......
I know that I will be
taking considerable risk buying from an off-brand shady company, but the price
is irresistible with such a drastic discount, so Scale Magazine, will you offer
your expert opinion on this brand, please?

I think you know how we feel about this. You get what you pay
for, I really truly and sincerely doubt they are the #2 scale company in China.
Of course you should buy ANY big real brand over that stuff!
Take your
pick of any real brand - just stay way from garbage if you can..
