Ideally I need one or two scales, one whose range is zero to 8000 grams and can measure 1 gram accuracy above 1000 grams and below 1000 grams at .01 grams.  I suspect this will require two different scales. The most Id like to spend is $120.00

Also, the scale(s) will operate in a very dusty environment that is alkaline. So quality is important. Features are not important (accuracy is however). Bench models are fine, but so are portables.

Any thoughts on brandnames or models?
